Shipping

Shipping is typically done by USPS. Currently we only ship to addresses within the United States, but hope to expand to other countries in the future.

We strive to keep our prices as low as possible, but we do have a small shipping charge if your order is under $100. To get free shipping place $100 or more in your cart and add the code FREESHIP and the cost of shipping will be reduced to $0. You can also add insurance for a nominal fee by going to the home page and search for Insurance and it will pull up the cost per $100 of insurance. Shipping is typically done by USPS.

While every package is very carefully prepared for safe shipping, insurance is recommended. We cannot accept any claims for breakage, damage, or loss on uninsured orders.  Purchasing insurance for orders is often only a few dollars more, and is strongly suggested.

Orders shipped to Tennessee addresses are subject to sales taxes, unless you have a valid resale permit number on file.

To be environmentally friendly we reuse the packaging materials. Because of his you may see newspaper from one of the may countries we buy from as well as used dry cleaning bags and bubble wrap.

Specimen Sizes

Specimen sizes are listed in inches and broken down into the following sizes to help you quickly find the size you are looking for.

• Thumbnail - up to 1 inch

• Miniature - 1 to 3 inches

• Cabinet - 3 to 6 inches

• Large Cabinet - over 6 inches

Returns

If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact us immediately. If you notify us within two weeks of receipt of your merchandise, we will refund the purchase price in full upon safe return of the specimen in its original condition. We do not pay for the the cost of return shipping unless we sent you the wrong specimen or the issue was an error on our part.

If your specimen arrived broken or damaged, we are very sorry that this happened with your specimen - we do our best to pack everything to prevent damage, but occasionally accidents do happen. If there is any damage caused by shipping and shipping insurance was purchased, notify us within seven days and will be happy to file a postal insurance claim to get you a refund as quickly as possible. Please do not return the broken specimen(s) to us unless we request it as the post office may not honor a claim if it is shipped back to us.

Miscellaneous

Unless specifically mentioned stands are not included with any specimens. If you do need stands we do have some that we can sell to you.

The specimens listed on this website are just a fraction of what we have. I have probably 30,000 pieces, many of which are in storage so if there is something you are looking for please let us know.
