Insects in Amber - New Jersey USA

Insects in Amber - New Jersey USA

$65.00

Location: Sayreville, Middlesex Co., New Jersey, USA

Size: 1.26 x 1.04 x 0.85

While the insects are not as clear as the Baltic amber what makes Amber from here special is that is is from the Cretaceous Period. To get to pieces this size a lot of digging and luck is needed.

If you have seen the Jurassic Park movies they show Amber from the Dominican Republic which is much, much too new to have dinosaur DNA but the scene in the movie would not have been as exotic with the dig happening in New Jersey. Here is your chance to own a very old piece of Amber (the oldest deposit in the USA).
