Spinosaurus (meaning "spine lizard") is a dinosaur that lived in North Africa during the Cretaceous period. , Spinosaurus was among the largest of all known carnivorous dinosaurs and is known to have eaten fish and terrestrial prey. Evidence suggests that it lived both on land and in water as modern crocodilians. Most people recognize this species from the Jurassic Park III as the mean one with the large Sail/fin down its back.
