This is a nice large trilobite specimen that is a great inexpensive pice especially when you consider its size.

Trilobites flourished to over 600 species throughout the Paleozoic world, comprising one of the earliest known groups of arthropods. They are most closely related to modern horseshoe crabs.
Trilobites evolved profound adaptations that place them among the most successful of all early animals. They patrolled, hunted, and scoured the oceans before becoming extinct.
Trilobite means, “Three lobes.” and occupied different levels of the food chain including predator, scavenger, and prey.
