Septarian Nodule slice - Polished on one side   Calcite (yellow), Aragonite (brown) & Limestone (gray)

15 miles east of Zion National Park,  Utah, USA

Unlike a lot of the specimens from Madagascar this piece has some gorgeous yellow calcite crystals. I picked through stacks of thick slabs and pulled out all those that had the open centers. The slabs are a lot cheaper than the halves and are polished on just one side. One picture is of the unpolished side. Stand is not included.
