Labradorite a feldspar mineral, is an intermediate to calcic member of the plagioclase series and can have a strong play of color, known as labradorescence. The stone, usually dark gray, black or grayish-white, or gray-green and is composed in aggregate layers that refract light as iridescent flashes of blue, gold, coppery red, or green.
