This crystal has a very light pink color that is hard to pick up in the pictures.
Danburite is named after the city of Danbury, Connecticut, where this mineral was first described. Danburite is a calcium boron silicate mineral and has a Mohs hardness of 7 to 7.5 and a specific gravity of 3.0. The mineral has an orthorhombic crystal form and is usually colourless, , but can also be pink, pale yellow or yellowish-brown.
